Where exactly is Cascina Blon?
Cascina Blon is a wine-estate B&B at Strada Colania 34, 2 km from the centre of Nizza Monferrato in the province of Asti, Piemonte. It sits in the Monferrato hills, about 1 h 15 by car from Turin, 1 h 25 from Genoa and 1 h 45 from Milan.
Is breakfast included?
Yes. A generous breakfast, served on the veranda or in our breakfast room, is included with every stay, with local and home-grown produce when in season.
Is parking available?
Yes, free private parking on site, with space for several cars.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out is until 11:00. Early check-in or late check-out is possible on request: tell us your arrival time and we will have everything ready.
How do I get there without a car?
Take a regional train to Nizza Monferrato station, on the line between Asti and Acqui Terme. The station is 1.7 km from our gate: about ten minutes by bike or twenty on foot. Genoa and Turin are the closest airports.
Are pets allowed?
Small pets are welcome on request; just let us know when you book.
Do you have a swimming pool?
Yes, there is a swimming pool open in the warmer months, plus a garden, olive grove and vineyards to roam.
Is it suitable for families?
Yes. Ambra and the Indaco suite sleep up to four, a baby cot is available on request, and there's a forest playground and babysitting on request.
Can you arrange wine tastings?
Yes: tastings in the vaulted cellar, our own wine and olive oil, and we can point you to the best enoteche and producers around Nizza.
Which languages do you speak?
English, Dutch, Italian and French.
