Move & play
Walk or cycle the two kilometres into Nizza Monferrato for dinner, then wander home through the dusk with a gelato in hand. Beyond town: vineyard treks, free bikes, horseback rides and truffles come autumn.
Una tenuta vinicola dell'Ottocento restaurata sulle colline del Monferrato: prodotti dell'orto, vigne da esplorare e il ritmo lento di una vita davvero bella.
Grow it, cook it, walk it off, then sit back down for more. Cascina Blon runs on the oldest recipe there is: real food, being outside, good company and time that finally slows to a stroll.

You might not want to eat out every night, so the kitchen is made for cooking, with produce from the local markets and, soon, our own garden. Olive oil, veggies and hazelnuts come from the land around you.

Put the phone away. This is a place for long games at the table, a stack of books, an early morning run through the vines or a ride into the hills. Take a dip in the pool while the kids vanish into the little forest playground.

Warm and washed in afternoon light, with antique furniture and garden views: a restful double for two.
A deep, intimate double in rich tones, with a quiet corner to read and a soft place to land.
Sunlit and golden, dressed with small family antiques and looking out over the vines.
Calm and green, opening toward the garden and the olive grove, the quietest corner of the house.
Original stone walls and timber beams, left beautifully exposed: the old farmhouse at its most honest.
A generous room for two, with space to spread out and slow down.
A suite with a mezzanine loft sleeping up to four, with room for the whole family under the old beams.
Bright and spacious, with a mezzanine loft and room to spread out.
Nel 2026, noi, Heleen e Gert Jan, siamo andati in cerca di qualcosa di diverso, e l'abbiamo trovato qui.
La cascina prende il nome dalla famiglia Belloni a cui un tempo apparteneva. Muri in pietra originali e travi in legno adornano ancora diverse stanze.
Diamo a tutto questo uno sguardo moderno, attorno al motto di Heleen “Feel Good Fuel” e all'idea di una vita più sana e felice.

Ten minutes by bike and nearly flat: enoteche pouring Barbera, the arcaded Piazza Garibaldi, the Friday market and vineyard trails into the hills.
Nizza by bike →Tell us what you have in mind: wellness retreats, weddings and celebrations, cooking courses or a private tasting in the cellar. We love building a stay around an occasion.
Eight rooms sleeping up to 20, up to 30 with the neighbours' house, a long table in the cantina and room to spread out: ideal for family reunions, trips with friends and small celebrations.
Groups & the whole house →Our cascina is named for the Belloni family it once belonged to, a name Nizza Monferrato still honours. In 2024 the town dedicated a piazza to Arnaldo Belloni, the printer whose Editrice Tipografia Moderna ran clandestine papers all through the Resistance: a local story of lead type and liberty.
And a family of printers would have known the rest. The name sits a breath away from Jacob Christoph Le Blon, who in 1725 invented colour printing itself, proving that every colour the eye can see is born from just three: red, yellow and blue. A press in the family and a name like Le Blon: we don't believe that was an accident.
“Painting can represent all visible Objects, with three Colours: Yellow, Red, and Blue.”
Jacob Christoph Le Blon, Coloritto, 1725
